July Fourth Jamboree

Our Fourth of July celebration is right around the corner. We’re hosting a Bomb Drop competition for hang and paragliding pilots and a BBQ cook-out for anyone hungry. We’re also offering a special rate on tandem hang-gliding! In honor of America’s 239th birthday, we’re offering 4,000 foot flights for only $239. Check it out!

Altitude      Duration       Cost

2,000 ft.    12-15 mins.     $175

3,500 ft.     22-25 mins.   $275

4,000 ft.   28-32 mins.    $239

 5,280 ft     34-40 mins.     $349

This offer expires on July 5, 2015. Don’t think you can make it to Morningside between now and then? No problem. Flights purchased during this sale can be saved for anytime in the future. They never expire! Simply call (603) 542-4416 to reserve yours.

The cookout will be free for everyone here. We’ll be providing a variety of meats. Side dishes and dessert will be pot-luck! Please bring a small dish to contribute. After dinner we’re planning to put on an amateur fireworks display for which we’re accepting donations. The more the community contributes, the bigger the bang will be!

This competition will take place the afternoon of July 4th. Start time will be between 2-4 PM, depending on weather conditions. All pilots rated H2/P2 or above are qualified to register. Each pilot will have 2 chances to launch from the top of our hill, fly over either the pond or the north field (depending on wind direction) and drop an item as close to the target as possible. Scores will only be counted if the pilot lands on his or her feet safely. The cost of the contest is $10 and includes uphill transportation fees. The top three pilots in each division will be recognized and receive prizes, including ENO Hammocks, Suncloud Polarized sunglasses, as well as various other Morningside and free flight related items. To register for the competition either call (603) 542-4416 or fill out the form below. Payment will be due by noon the day of the competition.
