My first summer of flying, I taught on the KHK dunes, then at the end of the summer went back home to NH, loaded up my new High Energy cocoon, and borrowed a Falcon 195 from Jeff Nicolay for some towing in the rowdy late summer NH sky. Towing behind Rhett Radford, we came across a B-17 flying through the airspace.
I had my first legit thermal at Morningside that day. Thrilled it’s back in operation in the good hands of KHK Hang Gliding!
