Looking to give hang gliding a shot?
Take one of our hill lessons for the opportunity to learn all about the sport, safety, and then go out and fly the glider yourself!
This introductory course begins with a presentation of history, flight principles, and safety considerations relevant to beginning hang gliding. After assisting in setup and preflight procedures, we begin level ground training. Ground-handling instruction evolves into a gradual ascent onto the training slope. Several attempts at man’s oldest dream mark the end of this very enjoyable beginning of your personal quest for flight. Students can be suspended in a simulator to become familiar with weight shift and correct posture if needed.
Lessons begin at 9 AM each day, 7 days a week. Weather to look for is light to medium (3-5 MPH) winds from out of the WNW through SW. All lesson are weather dependent.
