A big thank you to Rob and Sandy for the amazing Columbus Day Weekend and Fly In event this year. The Music, Food, Fireworks, Dancing and more to the 1960’s and Woodstock theme was fantastic. Also want to recognize the winners of the 2017 spot landing contest, in Hang gliding it was a new Pilot Jessica Pearson and in PG it was a almost new (to PG) pilot Mitch Shipley.
Mitch also put together and has been demonstrating the New Easy Flyer designed by Wills Wing.
We also want to thank everyone who came to set up and break down, the Bands and the great music, the VHGA, NEPHA, the town of Charlestown, and all you who have come and flown and supported Morningside Flight Park this season.
The Flight Park is currently closed for the winter months. All Hang gliding, Paragliding, and Powered Paragliding activity, including kiting in the LZ, is prohibited without express permission and Flight Park Managers on site.
Thank you in advance for respecting our facility and all of the support our customers have given the park over the years.
