If you are ready to commit and prepared to train all the way up to the Hang 2 level the HG Mountain Pilot Package is for you.
This is the last chance to purchase this amount of instruction at the current price before the 2018 season.
The Mountain Pilot course is an accelerated Hang II Program, which consists of both the H1 Certification and H2 Certification packages combined as one. The program aims to provide all the instruction and training necessary to earn the USHPA H1 and H2 ratings including all the appropriate skill sign offs for flying beyond the training hill. It is a total of about 16 full lessons or 64-72 hrs of training depending on the individual. Whether you sign up for consecutive days or break it up over several weeks through out the season, this accelerated Hang II Program has been the most affordable and fastest way to become a pilot that can fly in the mountains. It does include use of school equipment up to the H1 level, however after that equipment use is based on availability or rental is also an option. If you decide to buy a glider and harness from Morningside before beginning the H2 level you can use $500 of this package toward that gear purchase. This package also includes 100 rides uphill during lesson and are $2 each outside of instruction until completion of the package. Rides uphill are normally $4 each.
It is recommended to take the Introductory Hang gliding Lesson first to learn what paragliding is all about and then you can upgrade to the full PG Mountain Pilot Package.
