In all my years of Working Playing ” hard” Travling Vacting pertty much done it close to all untel this all my life i dreamed of flying like Superman, So one day i found Morningside did the tandam and i have to say it up there with some of the best momeries i ever had, And thanks again to jose, the best ask for him, I went to Charlestown N.H. LOVED IT.

November 1-2, 7-9, 15-16, and the 22nd.
Weather Permitting the park will be open until the 27th, after which will be closed until next spring.

Upcoming Events: Chili Cook Off

This Saturday afternoon, October 22, we are having a Chili Cook off and that night a Dance Party and Karaoke in the “Fainting Goat Chalet” (the barn and hay loft) if it’s too cold we’ll keep it in the Hanger. Cook off winner will receive a hand printed T-shirt and bragging rights.

Cook off will begin at 12pm

Dance and Karaoke starting 7pm

So far the weather is still looking good for flying this weekend hope to see you here

I was a student at Franklin PIERCE COLLEGE and I went Hang Gliding there for 3 years off and on in the fall and spring. This was the way to get some air, the first way to get your feet off the ground and also have the thrill of victory and luckily not the angony of defeat(crashes). It was a blast

Here’s a note from our friend, Paul Voight, about the upcoming landing clinic he and Ryan will be hosting at Morningside this Saturday and Sunday.

Hi, readers….

Paul Voight here…. Just reminding the masses that Ryan Voight will be hosting a landing clinic this Saturday & Sunday @ Morningside… (I’ll be assisting….

Pilots who intend to participate should be waivered with Morningside, and a pilots meeting will be held @ 8:30 am at the Morningside headquarters.

The clinic CAN/WILL be held regardless of flyability….

Weather permitting, pilots will fly…. the landings will be video’d… and video analysis and classroom will fill out each days schedule.

There is also a large archive of landing technique footage in Ryan’s bag of tricks in case we are grounded for any period of time.

Cost is $90 / pilot, which does not include Morningside fees (ATV rides up….etc).

SATURDAY

Glide Angle contest: 6:00 a.m. registration/6:30 a.m. re meeting / 7:00 a.m. start until 9:00 a.m.

Bomb Drop / Spot Landing contest 10:00 a.m. / 1:30 p.m. registration / 1:30 p.m. pre meeting / 2:00 start until 6:00 p.m. – costume contest included!

Potluck 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Live Band 7-9 p.m.

Fireworks at night

SUNDAY

Awards and ceremonies 4:00 p.m. till

$10 registration

Include overnight rates

camping $10 per person (anywhere)

Hay loft $20 per person

Yellow Trailer $30 per person (up to 6)(call for availability)

Back in 2001, I called morniside for the ride od my life. Talked to Jeff ( great instructor at the time ) and arranged with him the lessons that I’ll never regreated to have taken. After that first day, my life changed so much and we had so much fun camping, flying and barbacueing with pilots from all over the world. Today I’m living in Valadares and every fly that I have I owe Morninside and allways have jeff in mind.
